Danbury Dance Studio Helps Abused Women With Teach-a-thon

DANBURY, Conn. -- Arthur Murray of Danbury is hosting a 12-hour teach-a-thon to benefit the Women’s Center’s Elizabeth House on Friday, Jan. 15.

Instructors will teach non-stop for the entire period in the hopes of raising up to $1,500.

“The Women’s Center’s Elizabeth House is an important organization in the Danbury area,” said Nicole Almeida, the owner of Arthur Murray of Danbury. “Our teachers want to do anything we can to help abused women in need.” 

Lessons are $85 each and participants can sign up for multiple lessons during the event. Arthur Murray will also be accepting donations on behalf of the Women’s Center. Space is limited so reservations are required.

Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
